Preschool Curriculum

Weekly Themes

Grandparents - Sept. 7-10

This week the children will be honoring grandparents through art projects and by creating cards to show how much they care. They will continue to learn numbers and letters through sensory projects every week.

Imagination - Sept. 13-17

What fun it is to use your imagination by painting pictures of make- believe animals and people. Songs will be sung and poems will be recited.

Autumn - Sept. 20-24

Painting trees with fall colors and exploring the aromas of autumn will let us know that the season is changing. This is truly a beautiful time of the year!

Commumity Helpers - Sept. 27-Oct. 1

The classes will discuss their friends, the policemen and firemen, and draw pictures of community helpers. Safety will be stressed through art and songs.

All classes will be presented with letters and numbers weekly through songs, games and music. September is a great month of learning and greeting old friends while becoming acquainted with new classmates and teachers.
